State Fair Meadowlands the largest fair in the New York metro area with over 150 rides and attractions, today announced Bargain Days and advance ticket deals for this year’s fair, which runs from June 19 through July 5 at the State Fair Meadowlands Fairgrounds, next to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
“State Fair Meadowands has always been about offering affordable family fun close to home. In addition to offering special Bargain Days to help families enjoy the fair this year, we are also allowing fairgoers to purchase tickets for Bargain Days in advance, helping them not only save money but also avoid long lines at the ticket booth,” said Al Dorso, president of State Fair Meadowlands.

Advance Sale Tickets - Buy tickets in advance and save big. The Mega Pass is $26.97; adult admission (13 and older) is $7.97, child admission (children 12 and younger) is $5.97. The Mega Pass includes fair admission and an Unlimited Ride Hand Stamp. These tickets may be used any one day of the Fair including weekends and July 3 & 4. They exclude Opening Night June 19. Also, being sold in advance this year are tickets for special Bargain Days. Opening Dollar Night (June 19), Kids Go Free Night (June 24) and Cheap, Cheap Night (July 1).
Opening Night – Friday, June 19, 5 pm to 1 am (box office closes at 11:30 pm)
Parking is $2 per carload. General Admission is $2 per person. Each ride is $2 per person, each game is $2 per person and there will be select food and drink items for $2. Admission includes plenty of FREE Entertainment. Advance tickets for admission and rides are available at www.njfair.com to save time – no waiting on long lines at the box office! You may purchase admission tickets and sheet(s) of 20 ride tickets for $20 per sheet. Each ride takes 2 tickets.
Kids Go Free Night – Wednesday, June 24, 6 pm to 12 am (box office closes at 11 pm)
Any child 12 and younger gets into the Fair for free; a savings of $8 per child. There will be an Unlimited Ride Hand Stamp available for $20, which may be purchased in ADVANCE. Persons 13 & Older can buy a Mega Pass in ADVANCE for $26.97. Gate pricing for 13 & Older that night is $10 admission. There will be an Unlimited Ride Hand Stamp available for $20. Not only do you save on child admission, but if you buy in advance for persons 13 & older you save another $3. Parking is FREE and there is plenty of FREE entertainment. Cheap, Cheap Night – Wednesday, July 1, 6 pm to 12 am (box office closes at 11 pm)
Gate pricing on Cheap, Cheap Night is $5 per person, all ages for Fair admission. An Unlimited Ride Hand Stamp is offered at $19 for a combined price of $24. To save time waiting on line at the Box Office, you may purchase in ADVANCE admission only for $5 or a Mega Pass for $24 at njfair.com. Parking is FREE and there is plenty of FREE entertainment.
Patron Appreciation Day – Sunday, July 5, 2 pm to 12 am (box office closes at 11 pm)
A Pay-One-Price Combo Ticket for admission and an Unlimited Ride Hand Stamp is available for $27 per person. If you do not ride the rides, Gate Admission for persons 13 & older is $11; Gate Admission for children 12 & younger is $9. Parking is $5 and there is plenty of FREE entertainment. No advance tickets are available for Patron Appreciation Day.
Advance Sale and Bargain Night Policies:
The Advance Sale Mega Pass (entry/rides combo) is NOT Valid on Opening Night. Unlimited Ride Hand Stamp excludes Live Animal Rides and special attractions such as the oddity shows. Bargain Night tickets purchased in advance may be used for that night only. Admission is FREE any day for children under 34”. Please check height requirements for each ride before purchasing a hand stamp or individual tickets.
FREE Rain Assurance: If it rains continuously for more than 30 minutes before 9 p.m., warranting the closure of the majority of rides and entertainment, State Fair will validate ticket stubs with a stamp that will be good for any other weekday of the Fair (offer not valid for Opening Dollar Night or Closing Night).
