HersheyPark Christmas CandyLane Celebrates Their 30th Anniversary

Now Through December 31 *Select Times/Dates

HersheyPark has always been a very special place close to my heart. I can remember visiting with my parents and Pa family as a child, during class trips as a teacher, and with my husband and family forever.

It's a place to go where we can just enjoy family time and have fun!

Recently we visited HersheyPark Christmas CandyLane in Hershey, Pa. Our family loves the Christmas spirit and try to celebrate with family and friends the entire season. HersheyPark Christmas CandyLane was a perfect sweet treat for us. If you have never been to HersheyPark during the Christmas season, you are definitely missing out on a lot of family fun. From the moment you arrive at the park you will immediately be overtaken for the brilliant lighting adorned overhead. Trees, landscapes, candy canes, little shoppes, all showing their holiday best! There is even a nativity set up as soon as you enter the park.

Our first stop is always the Carousel! Everyone enjoys it, young and old the same. The smiles are flying and gets everyone into just the right mood. Of course the rides each have their own Christmas decorations. My forever favorite is Dinosaur-Go-Round. I am so blessed to still after all these years have a little one that can still enjoy that adorable Dinosaur complete with Santa hat!

Did I mention along with all this fun, you can also visit  Santa's Stables which houses all of Santa's flying friends. There is a guide at the stable with tons of information and stories to tell. Every question you have will be answered! While you are there you can enjoy some delicious hot cocoa and even take spin or two on the ice rink. Skate rentals are only $2.00, which makes it fun just to go around a few times!

After enjoying our time visiting the reindeer, we headed to see Santa! You can find Santa in the back by the Kissing Tower (I highly suggest you ride the Kissing Tower which overlooks HersheyPark and the entire Hershey area). Santa has his own workshop where you can spend time enjoying the elves working, toys, the good list-which Emily was thrill that her name was on, and of course pictures or just a visit with Santa!

The pictures are very reasonable and the background is picture perfect!

One of the most festive parts of Christmas CandyLane had to be the light show,

"NOEL-Nights Of Extraordinary Lights". There are four different light shows that play down and around The Hallow. This synchronized light show features over 125,000 dancing lights and is truly breathtaking! The lights dance to all your favorite Christmas songs and believe me you will not be able to stop from dancing.

The show takes place every half hour. During our visit we caught it three times and loved each show!

If it's chilly outside and you love shows make sure you do not miss out on this indoor Christmas musical,

A Music Box Christmas!

If you have thought about visiting HersheyPark Christmas Candylane, do not hesitate.

You will not regret it at all and create memories to last a lifetime!

Visiting Christmas Candylane is like being transported into a fantasy Christmas Land!

Lights, music, rides, candy, hot cocoa, Santa and more.

We have not stopped talking about it since our visit.

You can also enjoy breakfast or lunch with Santa at HersheyPlace.
